Prenatal and Postnatal Clinic

Choosing the right clinic for your family's most important milestones—pregnancy and the postnatal period—is a profound decision.

At Dinah-Gayle Medical Clinic, we offer a holistic, personalised, and deeply supportive experience that sets us apart. We are dedicated to ensuring a healthy, confident, and joyful journey from conception through early parenthood.

Exceptional Care for Your Family's Journey

  • Continuity of Care. Your Primary Care team will coordinate your care throughout your entire journey. They will be at your critical appointments, fostering deep trust and consistent, informed decision-making, which is often lost in larger hospital systems.

  • A Holistic Family-Centered Approach. Our services extend to partners and siblings, offering counselling and resources to help the entire family unit adjust to the new baby. We believe the well-being of the whole family is the key to a successful transition.

  • Emphasis on Postnatal Mental Wellness. Mental health is a priority, and we are here to guide you through the emotional and mental changes that occur after childbirth.

Prenatal Care: Nurturing Mother & Baby

Postnatal Care: Supporting Your Fourth Trimester

The first few weeks and months after childbirth, often called the "fourth trimester," require focused care and attention. Our postnatal services extend well beyond the standard six-week check-up.

We offer the following:

  1. Birth Control:

    • Oral Contraceptive Pills: Highly effective up to 99%, daily hormonal medications to prevent pregnancy by preventing ovulation and thickening the mucus of the cervix.

    • Implanon: Long-acting reversible contraceptive (LARC) implant. It is a small, flexible, 4cm rod placed under the skin of the upper arm, releasing progestin to prevent pregnancy for up to 3 years

    • Intrauterine Device (IUD): The IUD is a small, T-shaped device that is placed in a woman's uterus by a healthcare provider and can provide up to 10 years of pregnancy protection.

  2. Pelvic Floor Therapy: to help strengthen your weakened pelvic floor muscles due to pregnancy and childbirth
