Essential Care For Your Child

1. Child Welfare Clinic (CWC)

  • Free vaccinations follow the Ghana Health Service (GHS) Expanded Programme on Immunisation (EPI) protocol to ensure your child receives timely and necessary protection against common childhood diseases.

  • Regular weighing and growth charting help us monitor your baby's development and promptly address any concerns.

  • We also offer the HPV vaccine (age 9 - 14) which protects against the Human Papilloma Virus, a virus that causes cervical and other genital cancers, at no cost.

2. Comprehensive WHO-Recommended Immunisations

  • We offer additional, internationally recommended vaccines that follow World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines. This ensures your child is fully immunised against a broader spectrum of preventable diseases

  • Other vaccines we offer: Varicella (Chickenpox), MMR (coverage for mumps which is not covered by GHS vaccine), Meningitis Vaccine (Men ACWY), Tdap, Hepatitis A and Typhoid Vaccines.

3. Annual Child Wellness Visits

  • Detailed physical check-ups, developmental assessments and vaccination updates.

  • Assessment of cognitive, emotional, motor, social, academic and language skills to ensure your child is meeting age-appropriate milestones.

  • Providing parents with tailored advice on safety, nutrition, behaviour, sleep, and preparation for upcoming developmental stages.

4. Management of Chronic Conditions

5. Mental Health Screening, Assessment and Treatment

  • We use evidence based tools to provide screening, assessment, and management for ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and learning differences such as dyslexia and dyscalculia.

  • Services are available in-clinic and via telemedicine, with coordination for school or community referrals and multidisciplinary evaluations.

  • Treatment planning: evidence-based interventions including psychotherapy, medication management, behavioral strategies, school accommodations, and telemedicine follow-up as appropriate.
